God is gathering a company of people in Tauranga, New Zealand who are burning to know Him and make Him known. The central value of our community (THOP, YWAM and HOPE CENTRE TAURANGA) is the beauty and worth of Jesus Christ. Awaken Internship is a 12 week immersion in the lifestyle of prayer, worship and missions.
We have developed the AWAKEN INTERNSHIP program to create a sacred space for interns (primarily young adults) to encounter Jesus in a unique and focused way. Our classes are geared toward developing a biblical understanding of a life of prayer and the unique hour of history we are in. Ultimately, our highest desire for our interns during the three-month program is to gain a greater revelation of who Jesus is, who they are to Him & what He is doing across the earth in our generation.
